Smoking hookah tobacco is a rising trend among many college students as a means of socializing, but according to Peggy Foyle, few are aware of the risks involved.
Foyle, assistant director of the NT Student Health and Wellness Center and director of Meadows Center for Health Resources, said she would not recommend smoking hookah just as she wouldn't recommend smoking cigarettes, but she understands why it has become so popular....

Please note that there is a huge anti-tobacco lobby at work spreading erroneous scaring messages about hookah smoking.
WHO and other organisations have their own objectives- it would be naieve to believe that their studies are reliable and scientific. When searching for information on a subject, always search for the motive of the researcher or the research institute. It ought to be purely scientific.
The study which proved hookah smoking to be more dangerous than tobacco smoking is based on a MACHINE inhaling and smoking a hookah in a way that is VERY different from real-life hookah-smoking. For more TRULY scientific information, please read following comments on a study on "hookah smoking and cancer"(hookah, shisha, ... are different types of pipe smoking, while "waterpipe" is a word which has no clear reference):http://www.harmreductionjournal.com/content/5/1/19/comments
Please be open enough to try and investigate further into this to find out which manipulative games are going on worldwide.
Maybe you already have dug deeper, since I only stumbled upon your article just now. Anyway, good luck separating reality from manipulation. may truth prevail!
