Campus post office changes providers

Abstract:
The U.S. Postal Service office in the University Union is changing to a new provider, Pitney Bowes.

The post office will end its window service at 1 p.m. Aug. 1 and will remain closed for 10 days. Mail will continue to be placed in mailboxes until Aug. 4, and boxes will begin being removed around noon on Aug....

Whoo! I've heard about this for a while, too bad it happened after I graduated! I refused to stand in USPS's awful line, would go off campus to mail things.

I think the school is making a good decision doing this. It's going to cause a little bit of chaos at first but people will realize it's better for the students. I'd rather my p.o. box be paid along with other fees I have to pay so the money isn't coming straight out of my pocket. I'm glad the school decided to do things this way!
