Which one of his rights was violated? They could have found a better time to arrest him, but his rights weren't violated by either the police or the writer of the article.

they could have found a way better time, that one arrest could have ruined the rest of my life. so i think the police need to find something more important to do with their time instead of getting a kid over a traffic ticket. it just shows where our taxes go because i didnt pay shit i just sat it out and got fed and had a bed for the night, so really the system has some flaws.

How in the world would suing the writer of this article help him? I really hope that you are not a current or former UNT student, because I would hate to think that our admission requirements have really dropped that low...

The city of Pilot Point should be sued on what they did they can not stand and wait for him and arrest him infront of many pedestrians and embaress him. This is wrong and i hope Mr. Millhollon sues!

Pilot Point Police acted well within the law. They have the right to go any where to arrest someone on a warrant issued by a judge. One could say that arresting this guy at his home would be more ethical, but maybe he was avoiding them because he knew he had warrants.

Since when are the police ethically or legally required not to arrest someone who has broken the law at the risk of something so trite as embarrassing him?

Um why is everyone overlooking the fact that this guy broke the law then failed to pay his tickets and knew there was a warrant out for his arrest. What about personal responsibility?

i think the cop was just jealous that the kid was getting an education and to be a fat cop you dont have to have one all you need is just about 6 weeks of the training. i personally believe cops are a waste of time i've never been helped by one they just affect me with my money.

Okay, I have my fair share of issues with cops but this is just stupid. You've never been positively affected by cops?? Without cops around you'd probably be dead (with your common sense...) Think about it a little harder if you can.
