Abstract:
We could have done anything with our time that evening. So why did we protest? The answer is simple: "Girls Gone Wild," Mantra Films and founder Joe Francis promote the exploitation and objectification of young women.
Francis claims that he is giving women the chance to empower themselves....

As a female giving my opinion on the subject.... SO WHAT....Let those other chicks degrade themselves if they want....Joe Francis and Mantra don't make those girls do it...they do it themselves....It's called self control and they obviously have none of it so who cares.... I actually got to go on the bus tonite and dint have to show any leg or breast to get on and I got a free DVD, condoms and GGW Magazine out of it....so booyah!

Megan, its not hate when its true. Fags are an abomination. It's in the Bible give it a read. But i digress.
Its easy to denounce GGW but you fail to recognize that institutions like that wouldnt exist if girls werent whores. How about punishing the underage girls? What are underage girls doing on the GGW bus? Why are they drinking and engaging in sexual acts when they know they are not allowed?
Save me the argument that GGW represent the "rape culture." Key to avoiding rape is not putting your self in a situation where rape could happen. (Unless you're attacked and abducted while walking to your car or something) Showing up to a bar in skanky close might give guys the impression that you're a skank. Surprising isnt it?

If only more people in more cities would protest against this company in order to bring attention to these practices and make a change.
It is so important to get the word out to all woman not to drink around the workers of this company but also not to drink out of control around the men in thier lives...even if you think they are trust worthy...be in control of your senses and your life at all times.
Derek and the other protestors continue speaking out and thank you.
