Tuesday, July 1, 2008 A police officer was nearly hit by a vehicle in the Fry Street area near the corner of Hickory Street. The vehicle was later found and stopped south of campus on Eagle Drive. The driver, Charles Ferbrache, 42, was intoxicated, police said, and was arrested and transported to Denton County Jail, according to police reports. (0) comments
ALLAS (AP) _ Dallas County Sheriff Lupe (LOO'-pay) Valdez says the Discovery Channel has changed plans and will not do a documentary about the jail after a judge blocked their filming.
