Michael's Kitchen serves an intriguing mix of traditional American, Southwestern, Greek and Lebanese dishes. We arrived at the very beginning of an 8 o'clock rush. At first sight, Andy's Bar & Grill on the Denton Square looks like a lot of concert venues and bars, but this one has a split personality. David Berman isn't a typical rock star. He's settled into his 40s, his wife is an integral member of his band and he has six albums under the moniker of Silver Jews. His most recent, "Lookout Mountain, Lookout Sea," hit shelves this summer. He makes music that's built to age and mature with the listener, and because of this, he's built a wide fanbase of music fans that hold his affecting lyrics and relaxed alt-country close to their hearts. By Taylor Short Senior Staff Writer Metallica has always been a band close to death, but that theme has been intentional. Last Tuesday, Metallica released their new album titled, "Death Magnetic." In the '80s, the band clutched the title of "Metal Gods" by forging iron-clad thrash anthems with the raw "Kill 'Em All. (0) comments
