Although the final score isn't too telling of it, the NT volleyball team lost in a close match last night to Southern Methodist University. The Mean Green lost 0-3 (24-26, 22-25, 25-27) to the Mustangs in NT's last nonconference match of the year. Although NT failed to win a set, neither team ever mounted more than a four-point lead the entire night. (0) comments
The Mean Green women's golf team fought back on day two of the Jeannine McHaney/Audrey Morehead Classic in Lubbock, finishing in 10th place - out of 11 teams - with a total tournament score of 959. The team finished the final round with a score of 318 after struggling on the first day, ending the first two rounds with 641. (0) comments
Brandon Stevens - a theater arts junior - is head coach of the NT Women's Volleyball Club. But that's not the only club Stevens coaches. Last year, he restarted the NT Men's Volleyball Club, which had been disbanded in 1996, he said. Now he is not only head coach of both the men and women's clubs; he's also the men's club president and plays the setter position. (0) comments
