    Artist conjures chaos, tension for senior collection

    Ever since Arthur Peña was 12 years old, he has dreamed that he was being chased by tornadoes. The subject of his longtime dreams has become the subject of his latest paintings- an abstract collection designed to make the viewer feel uncomfortable.     NT hosts 'Murderball' screening, discussion

    NT welcomed Mark Zupan, star of the award-winning documentary "Murderball" and captain of the United States Quad Rugby Team, for a screening of the film and a chance to connect to students. Sponsored by the Office of Disability Accommodation, the Tuesday screening was followed by a lecture from Zupan, who discussed the film and the struggles he has overcome in his own life before signing copies of his best-selling autobiography, "Gimp: When Life Deals You a Crappy Hand, You Can Fold- or You Can Play.     IHOP celebrates, seeks 'wacky' or 'sentimental' memories

    Sing-alongs, first dates and marriage proposals may hold special meaning to many people, but if any of these experiences have happened at IHOP, a year's supply of free pancakes might be in order. The national pancake chain kicked off a contest Monday called "It Happens at IHOP," which encourages people to send in stories of their personal IHOP experiences online. (0) comments

    Nine Denton restaurants raised their glasses last week in support of the UNICEF Tap Project. The Tap Project is a nationwide campaign to raise money for clean, accessible water for children around the world. Participating restaurants across the country asked customers to donate $1 for the tap water they would normally receive at no cost. (0) comments
