    For more than two decades baseball fans at UNT have had to travel to Arlington to enjoy a live game. For 21 years, UNT has not had a collegiate baseball program, since it was cut, along with men's soccer, in 1987. But local fans of America's pastime may not have to wait much longer. (4) comments

    The National Golf Coaches Association recently named two UNT golfers to the All-American Scholar team for the 2007-08 season. Junior Halli Richards and sophomore Jordan Rose were two of 402 players to make the list in Divisions I, II and III.     MILWAUKEE (AP) - NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is monitoring the ongoing rift between the Green Bay Packers and Brett Favre. A person with direct knowledge of Goodell's interest said the commissioner has spoken with Packers management several times recently as tensions mounted between the three-time MVP and his team.
