Akunne signs with Falcons, Lemon with Saints

The Mean Green football team didn’t have any of its players picked in this weekend’s NFL Draft, but it did have two sign when it was over.
The team announced that linebacker Derek Akunne has signed with the Atlanta Falcons as an undrafted free agent.
He was one of @NTCoachMac first recruits, now he's an @AtlantaFalcons . @Akunnematata heads to the next level and signs with the Falcons.

Akunne, who led the team in tackles last year, confirmed the news via his Twitter.

In addition, Lemon’s teammate, offensive lineman Cyril Lemon, signed with the New Orleans Saints. Lemon was a four year starter for the Mean Green.
