Athletic fee referendum results postponed again
The results of the athletic fee referendum are being withheld, according to a statement released by Student Government Association Election Board Commissioner Emily Vasquez.
A formal complaint was submitted to the Election Board at 5 p.m. Friday, one day after the polls closed.

The parties involved will be notified immediately for a hearing, according to the statement. The hearing will be held within 72 hours.
The measure proposed a $6.25 per credit hour increase in the Intercollegiate Athletics Fee and a $2.00 per credit hour decrease in the Student Service Fee. Voting opened at 8 a.m. on Tuesday and closed at 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The referendum was postponed last semester after a formal complaint was submitted to Vasquez. A student used SGA’s logo without authorization and distributed flyers telling students to vote no on the referendum, which gave the impression SGA was endorsing that opinion.
The athletic fee student referendum was put to a re-vote after a closed hearing on Jan. 16. The re-vote occurred on Tuesday through Thursday, and votes were set to be released Friday.
