North Texas head coach Seth Littrell completed his hires on the offensive coaching staff Friday morning. Littrell brought in Tommy Mainord to serve as the associate head coach, passing-game coordinator and inside wide receivers coach and Brad Davis to be the offensive line coach and run-game coordinator.

Mainord spent the last three seasons at the University of Kentucky and coached a pair of receivers to a combined 101 catches, 1,302 yards and five touchdowns. Mainord also spent time at Sam Houston State University from 2005-2007 and led the Bearkats to a 16th ranked passing offense in his final year.

As for Davis, he was most recently the offensive line coach at East Carolina University. Prior to his stint at ECU, Davis was on staff at James Madison University as the co-offensive coordinator. He also coached at Portland State University as the run-game coordinator and offensive line coach, where 10 of his players were named to the All-Big Sky Conference team in a five-year span.

The hires of Mainord and Davis come over a month after Littrell brought in former Texas Tech University quarterback Graham Harrell to be the offensive coordinator. Littrell has said numerous times he will run an air raid style offense and deemed Harrell to be a perfect fit, especially after playing in the system at Texas Tech under Mike Leach.
