The Mean Green men’s basketball team lost to the No. 25 University of Arkansas 89-73 Friday night on the road.

North Texas (4-2) kept the game close for most of the night and were down by just two, 38-36, at halftime. The Mean Green took a 55-54 lead with 11:57 left to play. However, the Razorbacks (5-0) went on a 9-0 run to pull away from the Mean Green. The team couldn’t respond and ended up not being able to pull off the upset on the road.
