DIY: Nail art

It’s spring and there’s no better way to kick it off than by making your dorm room bloom with flower nail art on the wall.
Materials:
Nail polish (optional)
A block of floral support or cork
Jumbo push pins
Small push pins
Leopard duct tape (optional)
Sharpie (optional)
Foam sign (optional)
Spray on glue (optional)
Scissors
Instructions:
Cover the block of floral support with leopard duct tape and glue it to the foam with spray-on glue or any type of bonding adhesive. The block of floral support serves as the flowerpot or vase.
Place the jumbo push pins into the foam and arrange it in any style, such as the center of the flower.
Next arrange the small push pins around the jumbo push pins for the petals.
After all the pins have been placed, paint the jumbo pins with nail polish for an added spark.
Lastly, with the Sharpie, create the stem and leaves of the flowers by drawing from the vase and moving upward connecting the flower pins.
This piece can also be achieved with a wooden base, nails and a hammer; but if those materials are not accessible, push pins are a safe substitute. The jumbo push pins were $4.10 at Staples and the small push pins, floral support and foam sign were $3.25 at Family Dollar. A total of $7.35 was spent to achieve this look.
