A demolition company began tearing down the Downtown Mini Mall on Locust Street Wednesday afternoon at the downtown square in Denton, Texas.
Tactical Demolition of Prosper, Texas was granted a permit by the city of Denton on Friday to begin demolition of the building after a four-alarm fire destroyed the store in the early morning hours of Dec. 26. The fire damaged several adjacent stores such as Jupiter House and La Di Da which have no defined date for reopening.
