Great news: UNT adds more parking spaces

UNT Parking and Transportation announced about 150 new parking spots that will be available to commuters when they come back from the Labor Day weekend on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
The new parking spaces are located at 1500 Interstate 35, also known as the parking lot of the old Sack ‘n Save building, which the university acquired through eminent domain legal proceedings earlier this year. The new space, Lot 34, is available to G permit holders. The Mean Green shuttle will provide transportation to campus.
There is an increasingly heavy amount of road construction currently underway in part of the lot thanks to the 35Express widening project.
In a release, the parking office also reminded commuters of an additional space that opened this semester east of Victory Hall, Lot 85, available to G permit holders.
The university is conducting a Parking and Transportation Master Plan survey, which you can participate in here.
