Brief: I-35E access roads subject to nightly closing for construction project

Access roads going north and south on I-35E will be subject to lane closures at night, starting tomorrow and lasting until Sunday, Feb. 9, according to a 35Express Project press release.
In preparation to expand the I-35E bridge over Bonnie Brae Street in Denton, some lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. during the next six days. Detours for southbound motorists will be on West Oak Street and back to the southbound I-35E access road, while northbound traffic will be directed to North Texas Boulevard and then back to the northbound I-35E access road.
The construction is all part of the 35Express Project to expand I-35E in Denton County, from US Highway 380 to I-635 in Dallas.
