The adorable animals below have been crowned the pets of the week and are available for adoption at the Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center located at 3717 N. Elm St.

Adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Jackson the dog is a two- to five-year-old male chihuahua and Australian shepherd mix. Max the cat is a one- to two-year-old male American shorthair.

Jackson is very energetic and love to play with other dogs, while Max is a bit shy but enjoys being cuddled.
