The adorable animals below have been crowned the pets of the week and are available for adoption at the Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center located at 3717 N. Elm St.

Adoption hours are Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Chester the cat is a two- to five-year-old male tabby. Diezel the dog is a one- to two-year-old male Shepherd mix.

Chester is a lovable cat who enjoys long pets and long naps. Diezel is a bouncy dog who wants to play fetch and give kisses all day. He will sit for treats and is well behaved on a leash.

For more information or to see more animals at the shelter, call (940) 349-7594 or visit www.dentonasf.com/shelter/adopt.
