Fellow Undergraduate Students of UNT,

Simply by being students at UNT we are all members of the Student Government Association. We all have a part to play in effecting positive and lasting change for both our campus and community. Student government is not a spectator sport. It is a process that requires everyone to be engaged and involved in order to make our voice heard.

We believe students deserve to know what is happening on campus and the decisions being made that affect them. We will set the example for student pride and engagement by promoting school spirit and traditions. Ultimately, we want to help ensure that, as members of the UNT community, we all have a say in what happens at our university and that starts with having a collective and unified student body.

Our dialogue of change starts with you and has already begun. Issues concerning sexual assault and campus safety, meaningful conversations about campus transportation and education regarding the campus carry policy are just a few of the things you have brought to our attention. This is the process of student government at work, and it is our sincere hope that these conversations only continue to grow.

We are incredibly excited to see where this next year takes us! We are here to serve you all, so please do not hesitate to reach out with your questions and concerns. We hope you all have a great summer and we look forward to seeing you back in the fall. Go Mean Green!

UNT Proud,

Grant Hale
