Homecoming Royalty is for UNT to show off some of its best, most involved students on campus.

Students who were interested in participating in the Homecoming Royalty court went through a rigorous selection process where in the end, only two people will be deemed royalty.

Those chosen to be a part of this year’s homecoming royalty illustrate some of UNT’s students that not only apply themselves academically but get involved outside the classroom as well.

“As a group, we are some of the most involved people on this campus,” Homecoming royalty candidate Jackson Savarese said. “All of us have personalities that have lead us to be leaders in various organizations.”

After the rigorous application process, the finalists were selected by a panel of judges. From there, however, it is all up to their peers. Students can vote online through OrgSync. Candidates will be out and about campaigning until the poll closes at 5 p.m. Nov. 6.

Homecoming Royalty will be announced during the homecoming game on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Apogee Stadium during halftime.
