By compiling the sales data for romance novels, romantic comedy movies, romantic music and a variety of other “adult” products across the state, online retailer concluded that the most romantic city in Texas is Round Rock.

No, seriously. Along with donuts and above-average minor league baseball, does Round Rock have cupid on its side?

We have our doubts. Keep in mind, buying a lot of romance novels and romantic comedies doesn’t necessarily mean you’re in a relationship.

In fact, this data might point to Round Rock being the loneliest city in Texas. Next time, we want Amazon to post the numbers on sales for Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

Speaking of lonely, an employee of Allstate Insurance in Arlington was probably feeling just that last week when he found himself locked in an empty unused bank vault in his office for more than three hours.

Apparently part of a practical joke gone hilariously wrong, the employee was accidentally locked in the vault by a co-worker.

The city’s fire department eventually had to drill through a one foot concrete wall to free him.

It’s unclear how these two hapless employees managed to pull this stunt off, but we’re pretty sure Allstate needs to find some new insurance agents.

After all, it’s tough to protect your customers when you’re not so good at protecting yourself.
