The Cupboard, an organic grocery store in Denton, will be closing, the Denton Record-Chronicle reported Wednesday.

Specifics are to come in a press release sometime next week, co-owner Paul Tanis told the Record-Chronicle.

The Cupboard originally opened in 1965, expanding over the years and moving locations as it did so. The Cupboard is now located at 200 W. Congress St.

The Cupboard has been a Denton County Heritage Business since 2015.
