Tuesday, Feb. 12, 11:08 a.m.: A suspicious person was reported at the University Union and the UNT police issued a trespass warrant to a 30-year-old non-student. At 12:46 p.m., the same man was spotted on UNT’s campus. Police officers then arrested him for criminal trespassing and after resisting arrest, and he was taken to the Denton County jail.
11:15 p.m.: A UNT police officer arrested a 24-year-old non-student wanted by the Keller Police Department and the Denton Police Department. He was arrested for driving the wrong way on a one-way street and for speeding, and taken to the Denton County jail.
Wednesday, 12:52 a.m.: A disturbance was reported and the UNT police responded. An officer found a 23-year-old male non-student who was reportedly publically intoxicated, a suspect of physical assault and in possession of less than 2 ounces of marijuana. He was arrested and taken to the Denton County jail.
1:09 a.m.: A 19-year-old male student was issued a citation for urinating in public. The student was released from the scene.
11:17 p.m.: At an initiated traffic stop, a UNT police officer arrested a 20-year-old female non-student who was wanted by the Denton Police Department. She was arrested and transported to the Denton County jail.
Saturday, 12:34 a.m.: A 24-year-old male non-student was arrested by a UNT police officer. He was wanted by the police departments of Plano, Lewisville and Fort Worth for an expired registration, two counts of failure to maintain financial responsibility, failure to signal lane change, failure to appear and display a drivers license, two counts of speeding and criminal mischief greater than $50 but less than $500.
11:57 p.m.: A UNT police officer issued a citation to a 31-year-old non-student for urinating in public. He was released from the scene.
