This week’s police blotter: A student is taken to hospital after an overdose at Victory Hall

Monday, Feb. 25, 7:59 p.m.: A 34-year-old female non-student was arrested on possession of several controlled substances and an outstanding warrant of arrest from the Hunt County Sheriff’s Department. She was arrested and taken to the Denton County jail.

8:50 p.m.: A medical emergency was reported at Victory Hall. UNT police officers and Denton Emergency Medical Services responded to a student who overdosed. The student was transported for medical treatment.

Feb. 27, 12:29 p.m.: An alleged online scam was reported at the Sullivant Public Safety Center in Denton. UNT police officers responded to the possible scam and a report was completed.

March 1, 1:24 a.m. and 1:57 a.m.: Two men were arrested for urinating in public at two separate locations. Both were issued tickets and released at the scene.

12:32 p.m.: A theft of a solar panel was reported to the UNT police department. The theft was greater than $50, but less than $500. A report was completed.

March 2, 3:53 a.m.: A complaint was reported that a vehicle struck a fence around UNT lot 41 and then left the scene. A UNT police officer responded and a report was completed.

March 3, 1:54 a.m.: Three separate instances of driving while intoxicated occurred and three arrests were made. A 26-year-old male, a 57-year-old male and a 24-year-old male were all taken to Denton County jail. The three instances occurred from 1:54 a.m. to 2:26 a.m.

4:18 a.m.: At Clark Hall, an individual was sent to the hospital for medical treatment due to overdose of a controlled substance. EMS assistants transported the individual for medical treatment.
