Due to inclement weather in Denton, UNT has postponed Make A Difference Day, which was originally scheduled for tomorrow, Oct. 24.

“We have been monitoring the weather for Saturday, and we are concerned with the predicted heavy rains and potential flooding,” said Tricia Rodriguez, Center for Leadership and Service Community Service Coordinator. “Through conversations between the Center for Leadership and Service and our Community Partners, we have decided to postpone the event.”

Make A Difference Day has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 14.

According to Rodriguez, anyone interested in volunteering on the new date must re-upload their information to the online volunteer form by Monday, Nov. 2.
