UNT student wins top advertising competition

There is nothing more trying, more upsetting, more completely infuriating than getting a flat tire.
Richard Funes, communication design student at UNT, displayed that with his witty mock advertisement campaigns that won him a gold American Advertising Award at the 2015 American Advertising Awards in Las Vegas, the nation’s largest ad competition.
The ads Funes designed showcase the annoyances of getting a flat tire in a simple way.
The SAAB automobile logo has tears coming down from the animals face, the Ford logo changed to “F@#*!,” and the Hummer logo replaced with “Bummer” are a few examples of his work. See his hilarious work here.
The competition had at least 40 thousand applicants.
Funes made the mock campaign for a class before sending it to competition, according to a press release.
