Wednesday: Video shows man tased during tense arrest
Toward the end of a video posted Wednesday, one woman is heard shouting for help as Denton Police officers arrest her. On the left side of the screen, Marcus Coleman, 26, tries to reach her, but is blocked by another officer with his Taser drawn.
The 30-second Twitter video posted by @BTP_TACO shows the officer deploy his Taser and Coleman hit his head on the railing of an upstairs Motel 6 balcony as he falls to the ground.
No injuries were reported according to a press release from Denton Police Department, and Coleman was taken to jail for interfering with public duties.

Police determined upon arrival the woman needed mental evaluation and took her into custody, apparently prompting Coleman to respond, according to reports.
The release also says a 3-year-old boy came out of one of the hotel rooms “naked and wet.” Police entered the room to find a bathtub full of “scalding hot” water and Denton firefighters assessed the boy and determined he was okay.
Police were initially called to the scene in response to reports of indecent exposure. When officers arrived, they found the woman on the second-floor balcony of the Motel 6 at 700 Fort Worth Drive.
The release said an infant and an “unidentified male” were also at the scene.
The North Texas Daily is following the story. Updates will be posted when they are available.
