Watering hole serves beers, eats and tunes

Customers of Harvest House sip cocktails and beer while Sol Kitchen sound checks on Denton’s newest stage. Harvest House opened nearly a month ago just before 35 Denton and has had solid turn outs since.

Billiards, darts and dancing are part of the entertainment at Jack’s Tavern. UNT alumni Chirs Lutz and Randy Barber opened Jack’s eight weeks ago at 508 S. Elm St.
Patrons enjoy live music on a Wednesday night at new Denton bar Jack’s Tavern. If you aren’t as musically inclined and just want to belt out some Garth Brooks, head over to Jack’s Tavern on Tuesday nights for karaoke.
A deep dark Block Party poured at the Hickory and Fry bar. The beer, like many other options at Hickory and Fry, is locally brewed at Dallas’ Four Corners Brewing.
Hickory and Fry’s unique Quinoa salad. The recipe calls for three Roma tomatoes stuffed with quinoa squash. Head chef Jennifer Dahlen collaborates with her sous chef to create unique dishes and a seasonal menu. The bar joined the Fry Street family earlier this semester.
